Splash Pad Fun

Do you remember how fun it was as a kid to run through the sprinklers and then lay on the hot cement to dry? With water shortages and most homes now on secondary water, running through the sprinklers isn't always an option.  A great FREE alternative is your local splash pad.

Here's a list of the FREE parks in Davis & Weber County:

-Ellison Park (Layton) - at 700 n 2200 W. One of the only splash pads in the state that has a slide activity center and elevated splash pad toys.

-Farmington Crossing Splash Pad - at 985 W. Willow Garden Paseo. This splash pad is within the Farmington Crossing apartment complex and includes a playground and splash pad.

-Heritage Park (Kaysville) - at 150 N. Fairfield Rd. Includes a splash pad, playground, open space, and pavilion.

-Legacy Regional Park (North Salt Lake) - at 1140 West 1100 North. This park includes a playground, pavilions, basketball courts, field and a splash pad.

-Harrisville - at 1350 N Hwy 89. This is a smaller splash pad that has various water features to play with.

-Nature Park (South Ogden) -  at 5874 S Park Vista Dr. Includes a splash pad, playground, and large grassy area.

-Riverdale Park Splash Pad - at 4300 S Parker Drive. Offers a variety of water features for the kids to play on.

So grab the beach towels, sunscreen, and the kids and enjoy a day at your local splash pad.

Happy Splashing!
