Pumpkin Patches and Produce Picking

Last year while visiting my niece in California, I had the opportunity to explore and enjoy a local blueberry picking farm. Without the hassle of having to grow the berries, they were already to pick and there were so many of them! Plus, the compared to the prices in the store, feeling up a bucket full of blueberries was a great deal.

This is a fun activity for the kids too! This is a perfect way to have them participate in picking the fruits and vegetables. With Halloween around the corner, pumpkin picking is a great activity to bring the kids. One of my favorite places to buy my pumpkins is Black Island Farms in Syracuse.
